Guarding training courses accepted by the BSP

To obtain a private security guarding license, you must successfully complete a 70-hour training program. This program must be taken at a recognized school service center or school board, which will issue an attestation of successful completion. The Bureau de la sécurité privée(BSP) also recognizes other specific training courses, in accordance with article 112.1 of the Loi sur la sécurité privée (LSP). These alternative training courses are accepted provided they meet all the criteria established for their official recognition by the Minister of Public Safety.
